Guidance for foreign nationals, overseas Sri Lankans, investors, professionals, families, remote workers, students and long-stay applicants who wish to enter, live, invest, work, study or remain in Sri Lanka under the correct visa category.
Sri Lanka is now one of our destination countries for visa and residence guidance. First Class Immigration supports clients who need clear advice, document preparation support and practical application assistance for Sri Lanka. Our service is not a tourism package service — we focus on immigration guidance, visa route assessment, residence options and application preparation. Choosing the correct category is important because using the wrong visa can lead to delays, refusal, cancellation or future immigration issues.
Sri Lanka visa routes group into short-stay visit routes, residence visa routes and transit permission. A visitor should not use a tourist visa for employment, local business operation or long-term living. A business visitor should not assume a short business visa allows them to work, trade or live in Sri Lanka. Foreign workers, investors, spouses, students, volunteers and remote workers may need a residence route depending on their purpose. Before starting any process, the applicant should be assessed properly so the correct category is selected.
